Muddy Waters "I Can't Be Satisfied"

"About the only parallel between the Mississippi Delta and the Garden of Eden is that each had a river running through it. Nevertheless, there are parallels between bluesman Muddy Waters leaving the Delta and Adam and Eve getting expelled from the garden. Muddy Waters headed north first, then, like Adam and Eve, headed east. Just before he left, he recorded a song for Alan Lomax, as John Work stood by: "I Be's Troubled". Work titled it "I've Never Been Satisfied" in his field notes. It was later titled "I Can't Be Satisfied", when it was recorded commercially at Chicago's Chess Records in 1948." (Getting The Blues by Stephen J. Nichols pg. 39)
