Ultimate Meaninglessness Is Un-Discoverable

If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe . . . we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning.
--C. S. Lewis, Mere Christianity, Book 2, chapter 1

If you believe that life has no meaning you would have never found out it has no meaning. So the very fact that you think life has no meaning reveals that you have rejected the meaning life offers. So you know there is meaning.
