The Garfield Blues Band at Alvins on The Wayne State Campus Detroit
How cool! I remember when Steve Nardella played there in the '80s. Great place. I have some great memories of Blues in Detroit from the mid '70s to late '80s. The Famous Coachman. Me and my buds went to the WDET studio on a Saturday around midnite and he let us join in on his radio show. Took a pilgrimage to his record shop on Mt Elliot and Mack. Also the summer blues festivals with Bobo Jenkins and company. And the Soup Kitchen Saloon!
